Zelda: Breath Of The Wild's Second DLC Shown In New Footage

New footage of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's upcoming story DLC has been released, and more narrative details have been confirmed by series producer Eiji Aonuma.

The developer stated that you'll still play as Link in the Champions' Ballad expansion, but that you'll learn more about Zelda along the way. Take a look at the new development footage below.

Aonuma was speaking at a Zelda masterclass as part of Japan Expo in Paris, France. In addition to the story snippet, it was confirmed that Link's lobster t-shirt from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker will return in The Champions' Ballad, and another Zelda art book is on the way, focusing on Breath of the Wild. The two previous books in the series have focused on Hyrule's history and The Legend of Zelda's art, respectively.

We got our first look at The Champions' Ballad at E3 this year. Nintendo says the expansion will add "new challenges that will let players enjoy a new dungeon and a new original story" when it launches in holiday 2017. The add-on is included in the $20 / £18 season pass, which also contains the recently-released Master Trails DLC pack.

Along with a harder difficulty mode (which uses its own separate save slots), The Master Trials introduces an assortment of new costumes such as the Tingle Outfit and Phantom Armor, a Travel Medallion that allows players to create a temporary quick-travel point, and a system that tracks the path you traveled around Hyrule.

The most significant addition, however, is the Trial of the Sword. Like the Cave of Ordeals from previous Zelda titles, this 45-room challenge tasks players will battling through a series of increasingly difficult encounters. You begin the Trial without any armor or equipment and can only fight using the weapons you acquire during the challenge. Completing the Trial of the Sword lets players wield the Master Sword in its fully powered-up state.

Square Enix Thinks About A Final Fantasy VI Remake

Final Fantasy VI is an incredible role-playing game - one of the best in the series, as far as we're concerned - but a lot of the time, it gets pushed aside in favour of the 3D titles that succeeded it. Square Enix hasn't completely forgotten about Terra and her 2D adventure, however, as Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase admits that the development team has at least considered a remake of the classic release.

In an interview with Famitsu - translated by Gematsu - Kitase is jokingly asked to remake Final Fantasy VI, to which he responds: "Right now, we're working on Final Fantasy VII… The staff within the company are also saying it [that they want a
remake of Final Fantasy VI], but it continues to be put off." Interesting.

Obviously, a remake of Final Fantasy VI would require a lot of work - especially if it was going to make the jump to 3D. Honestly, though, we'd probably take some sort of remaster if it ever cropped up - provided it didn't take Square Enix approximately five years to produce.

Would you like to see Final Fantasy VI make a return? Rattle off about espers and all that in the comments section below.

"Would You Like To Quit The Game?" PSP 2004/3004 Message FIX

In order to lower the cost of the slimmer version of the console, sony change the manufacturing plans according to how PSP holds and reads the UMDs. But if you make something cheaper u expect to behave as a cheaper machine. Though 3004 model has a crispier screen and more RAM than the original, they really screwed up the disk tray.

The original PSP has a small contraption, lets call it a "cage", that holds UMDs still, from every side. The newer model has just 4 small pieces of metal shaped like an "X" in the inner side of the tray that pushes the disc towards the lazer when closes in order to be read.

Those pins of the "X" are easily bended so after a while they tend to lose their grip and to stick to the plastic side of the tray not pusing the UMD in the opposite direction.

So what i did was to push the metal pins a little back up with just my finger nail . i guess you can use whatever feels easy for you.

I can't figure anything else out to be the cause of that "error" ... that or it is a software error or that the hinges of the door are loose (especially if the door tilts a bit when you touch it but i ll make a new post for that) i dont know, It worked for me i bet u can try it, its easy and can be done in a few secs. Give me your feedaback

How To Repair Broken PSP UMDs

Broken UMDs are really a pain in the bum but the good thing is that there is a way back. A custom way to restore its playability but not exactly its original form.

So, all you will need is a broken UMD some Scotch tape and a cutter.

Steps:

1. Cut a piece of the scotch tape and stick it on the UMD as show below

2. Press it well to stick really good on the plastic (you don want to any small pieces to fall into your console)

3. With the cutters cut the excessive part of tha tape so it is covered only on the narrow side

4. Now the cut tape will keep the plastics closed and  prevent the disk from moving back and forth in the console

NOTE: This is a method i found out that it is working and i have repaired many UMDs with it but I dont take any responsibility about any damage you may cause to your UMDs or your console

NOTE#2: I change quite frequently the tape as it tends to leave a glue residue and eventually it falls off after some time so keep that in mind!

NOTE#3: I ve been working on some more permanent method to stick back the UMD casing so keep tuned!

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X for PS4 Coming Next Week!

After the classification that has been done for Resident Evil: Code Veronica X for PS4, Gematsu revealed us that the title will come out next week and more precisely in 9nth of May without Capcom posting anything relevant.

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X is it going to be a simple port from PS3 and not a total remake like Resident Evil 2 that we are waiting for!

How To Prevent PSP UMDs From Breaking

I am sure we might have experienced such a frustration when you so eager to play a legendary psp title and u take it out of the box and OH MY FOOOOKINNN GAD you only take out the half of it!

It is a sad fact that UMD cases hold the games too tight but there is a simple hack we can do to prevent it from happening. We will only need a 1) PSP UMD case and 2) a cutter.

Steps:

1) open the case and CAREFULLY take out the UMD

2)Take the cutter and little by little saw carefully the edge of each tooth saw it is a bit smaller and more blunt

and thats it . Now ur UMDs will come off the case much more easy without risking it to break from too much pressure!

Why PSP UMDs Break

Being one of the best portables, Sony's PSP have some flaws as well. Not the actual console but the casing of its UMDs. You the UMDs themselves are really delicate construstions. They consist of 2 parts 1) a mini disc 2) and a plastic shell of two pieces that closes around the disc. That plastic shell theoritically protects the disc, among others, not to be harmed by dust, pointy ojects etc but what happens when you take it out of the case?!

The case has an identation that the UMD fits in and two plastic claw-like "teeth" that holds the game down from falling apart. And there is the catch, most cases tend to be grasp the game disc too tight or tighter that they should, so when you pull it out of the case the the plastic part that is below the disc gets seperated from the upper one resulting in opening in two. If the plastic shell opens then the game falls too far away from the PSP's laser beam and its almost impossible to be read.

Why PSP Is The Best Portable Console of All Times

It is well known the battle of the consoles that you hear going on here and there for ages and that will continue happenning but when it comes to crowning the king of the pocket systems then the title goes to Sony's PSP, not the PSP Go but all the other versions of the Sony's pocket monster!

Sony released PSP back then when the only antagonist that it had to compete with was Nintendo DS.
And i know that Nintendo warriors going start bitching about but come OOOOOOOON DUDE! Really?! And before you start judging me I 'll tell you that I know what you are gonna say. That it's not always the graphics that count and that Nintendo was always not oriented to violent games or that it targeted younger audience etc etc. I know all that, but when it comes to judging the best of the best you cant think of such parameters as mere excuses! And I tell you totally straight when PSP was released, was such an overpowered system that most of us could not know how to exploit it to its fullest!

So, why I think it's the King of The Portables

ADVANTAGES

1. A big 4.3 inches Widescreen TFT screen with 480*272 resolution.

2. IR Connectivity.

3. Wi-Fi Connectivity.

4. Music Player.

5. Video Player.

6. Stand by Mode (and we all know how important that especially if u run out of battery).

7. Hackability (you know you have hacked your psp and i know you have hacked your psp, it's so easy that even 5yo could do it! And it gives you the so much wanted backwards compatibility of every other console).

8. One of the BIGGEST game libraries.

9. So many games from other consoles have been re-released to PSP.

10. The most famous JRPGs of all times have made their way to the portable system giving the ability to younger audience to play games that were originally in previous generations.

11. Many exclusive releases of so many already famous games.

12. From the PSP-2000 and on players could plug their psp to their TV with just one cable and enjoy their portable experience like a boss!

13. Really cheap games

14. In 2011 Sony released the last model that was a budget model with no Wi-Fi or stereo sound but with the crispiest screen only for 99$.

15. Built like a tank!

In other words its an all around console that gives you portability, great graphics, and the veratility of a multimedia device. You will never get bored of it or think that it's useless. If you ask me all those are enough reasons to be considered one of the best consoles and the best handheld out there!

Disappointed With Resident Evil Revelations 2

The whole game seemed to me as something that had to be done really quick just because there were some contracts that needed to be followed.

Not that Resident Evil Revelations 1 was much better but this one is like playing a total different game that has nothing to do with the series. If it was made by not so popular developers, I m sure that it would be a disaster.

But lets examine one by one the biggest flaws of that controversial title.

1. Different Save Slots... NOT!!

I don't know if thats only on the PS4 version of the game, but if you start through lets say user one, you cant start it at the same time by a second user and keep both separate save files. Thats ridiculous! Even gameboy games had different slots to save different files. I am really really really frustrated by seeing such a colossal company doing amateur things like this. For Sephiroth's sake we are in 2017!

2. No Headshot Explosions.

Come on now you guys! What is a Resident Evil title without magnum headshot explosions?! You should know better. And apart from that , there is no damage in specific parts on enemy bodies.

3. Graphics

The graphics could surely be a lot more enhanced, yeah yeah I know its a series that started being designed on 3DS but I cant be playing a game on ps4 with worst graphics even when compared to ps3 games

4. Useless Co-Op

Co-Op mode is, surelly, most of the times so fun, especially if the game is well designed but in this case is kinda a disaster. The second character doesnt fight at all! AT ALL!!! Really now Capcom?! Its a fucking Resident Evil game! Why do I have to just be a mule and carry stuff for the primary character?!  And ok, with the Claire couple, Moira uses a crowbar for melee attacks, this is not much for sure but at least it's something. But when it comes to the Barry couple only Barry shoots and fights, Natalia just picks up bricks that break with the 3rd hit! And there are not strategically placed throughout the levels. How fucked up is that?! She climbs up a ladder and the brick falls, she cimbs down a ladder and the brick falls, she opens a door and the brick... guess what?!

5. Totally Useless Skill Tree

OH MY FOOOOCKINN GAD! Whats with the skill tree in that tragedy of  game! Ok, here is how things are. We have 2 couples of players. In each couple the one is the primary and the other is the auxiliary one. The primary one can obtain 3 rows of inventory slots can fire weapons and can attack melee attacks. The auxiliary characters, on the other hand, have only 2 rows of invenotry slots can fire arms, the one of them can't even attack with throwables and her melee attacks are practically useless and her climbing speed is ridiculously slow. With all that given, the skill tree has only six augmentation slots for the auxiliary characters (and even with those obtained there is much of a change) and all the others 18 slots are for the already overpowered primary characters.

So, NO RER2, JUST NO! You failed miserably in being a Resident Evil and disgraced your predecessors thats too bad, again, for a colossal name like that!

The Legend of Heroes - Trails In The Sky - Game Won't Start (PC) FIXED

Hello Kupers! I finally found a jrpg worthy of my time :) so I decided to play it on pc because on psp is somewhat rare! The installation was pretty simple and really quick but then I was found with the classic problem that the game wont start after u double click its shortcut.

But dont you worry my friends, Kupo!1UP has once again an easy solution!

- Go to the installation folder (right click on the shortcut, open installation folder)
- Find the config.exe and open it change the resolution to match to the resolution of your screen, and thats it.
- Now it will run smoothly.

The Last of Us Part II Is Being Cancelled

Unfortunately, there has been an unexpected turn of events. Naughty Dog went on canceling the most expected sequel The Last of Us Part II. The announcement was made by Neil Druckmann through his personal Twitter account and as he says, something like that was necessary. We literally can not find the words to describe the course of events for that game! We just hope that in the neat future will be a way for the game to be continued! See Druckmann's announcement here

Nintendo DS vs DS Lite

I really dont know what to choose when it comes to picking one of these 2 Nintendo consoles. But I think i eventually lean more to DS Lite just dew to its a lot brighter screen. So listed below are the differences of those 2 portables

DS vs DS Lite

1. Size. The DS Lite is really smaller than the its predecessor but that its not always a desirable feature. Players with larger hands will find it difficult to use it.

2. DS Lite Brighter Screen. The Ds Lite has a considerably brighter screen and it gives the option to choose between 4 intesities! On the other hand the original DS has the option to just turn the light off.

3. DS Lite Stronger Battery. Its battery is slightly stronger. The DS Lite has a battery of 450mA and the DS has a battery of just 320mA

4. Power Button. The original Ds has the power button on the left side above the d-pad cursor, the DS Lite has the power button on the right side and it is a slide up button which it makes it a bit hard to operate.

5. DS stronger built. Though the Ds Lite is smaller and cuter if u want, it is built from a cheaper plastic in contrast to the original that it looks and feels stronger, and is built like a tank!

6. Mic position. Ds original has the mic on the lower left side of the screen and the DS Lite on the center of the hinge above the touch screen.

7. Power light. Ds original has the power light indicator on the lower right side of the touch screen and the DS Lite has it on the right side of the hinge

8. Touch Stylus. Ds has the stylus inserted on its back, and DS Lite has it on the right side next to the power button.

Why Square Enix, Why?!

Whats going on with that huge mega therion! It looks like they are on berserk mode with a main quest to ruin all those games that we grow up with! Im frustrated Square Enix, honstely I think you could do better than that! I dont know where to start. Final Fantasy series?! Thief series?! Tomb Raider series?! Dungeon Siege series?! Deus Ex?! (well Deus Ex to be honest is still quite playable!)

But what's up with you guys. And who said that gamers need innovations? We want Lara Croft as we met her back then in the middle fucking pixelish 90s, we want back that atmosphere of total exploration we want to sneak in every corner to find hidden treasures! Oh, and stop indicating us EVERYTHING, you take away from us the feeling of discovering your very own worlds!

Who said that lara is a fucking gun expert that kills 50 armed soldiers with just an axe! Guess what!!!NO ONE! She is a fucking TOMB RAIDER, and what a raider of tombs does??? Raiding Tombs!!! Duh!!!!  And NO Square Enix, we dont need auto healing, we need to heal her with medipacks! SImple fucking kneel-to-grab medipacks! Because thats classic! Simple as that!

And what happened to the old school hand drawn map of Thief? Why do i need to see a damn quest indicator constantly on my screen to show me where to go? Is it supposed to be set in a fantasy steampunk medieval age or not?! We need to find our own way we need to compare the old school handdraw map with the environment to see where to head next! And dont you think that the map on the last thief is too "high tech" for the game? Even its sounds! It is steampunk age, so we need sounds from metal clanging and steaming machines!!! Oh, and almost forgot, come guys.. admit it... what s with the rope arrows?! Copy&Paste anywhere right?!

Do i have to mention about the threnody that the Final Fantasy series are going through? Probably that's obvious! The elements for a successful FF game is QUITE SIMPLE!
1. Turn based battle system
2. Traditional leveling system
3. Clever/strategic battle gameplay
Simple as that! Can you follow that?! Probably not, to hard for you huh?! What the fuck, you never talk with actual gamers, never hear their opinions?! Honestly i dont know what's happening with you dudes!

And you couldnt keep away from Dungeon Siege either. So nice gameplay, so epic music so epic battles so adventurous explorations, and with DS 3 you just spoil all the fun. I began to think that you do it on purpose! And whats with that fucking button that shows us where to go?! I dont get it. What am I supposed to do if you give me everything that I must do myself? An autopilot button and there you have it! The perfect game for low-intelligent gamers! You dont have to simplify everything for us. You just have to make them intriguing and FUN at the same time,  I dont care how care to do it, thats your buisiness, and thats why we are paying you for!

Nintendo DS / DS Lite Are Region Free

Though i live in Europe, Greece, lately i bought an american version of Super Mario 64 DS and i was pleasantly surprised to discover that both of the DS and DS Lite systems are region free. I have European consoles and the american version seems to run just fine to my systems, I recorded also a video to show you. I believe that the compatibility goes backwards as well.

Why Gothic Is The Best RPG Trilogy

Many will say that if you haven't played Elders Scrolls Oblivion or Skyrim you dont know what an RPG means. If you want an rpg that you won't get bored of it, wont feel like you do over and over again the same thing then you definitely wont chose Bethesda's masterpieces. Although that many of the so-called gamers don't even know their existence Gothic games are by far the best of the genre and you will soon discover why.

Realistic Exploration

In Gothic when you want to track down a quest you track down a quest! and not by simply pressing "X" and chasing a dot on the minimap and you know why? because there is no minimap! You have to find it yourself by exploring the wolrd around you depended on the rumors you collect along the way! I dont want someone to take me by the hand and lead me to the quest's goal, if thats the case then i could use a walkthrough on youtube. The purpose is YOU to do all the necessary exploring! Play one quest like that and then you will see what feels better! It is supposed to be a fucking fantasy medieval game.

Real Time Healing/Looting

Remember all those western rpgs where you are during a battle your health drops dramatically and you just paused heal and unpause?! Really you noob?! Are you the only clever in your family or you have a twin?! Gothic gives you plenty ways and items to be healed but you have to do it like you would in a real fight, you have to run away from the enemy enough so you have the time to open the inventory select the healing item and heal yourself!

No Loading Times

Many wrpgs are designed that way so every time you enter a house it loads to show you the interior. In gothic you dont have such inconveniences. You enter a hut just by passing through the door simple as that, you dont have a loading screen to spoil the fun every now and then!

Improving Weapon Handling

As you progress through the game and become more proficient at several things you can see the changes on your hero. At the beggining when he is totally noob at anything he weilds even a small sword by clumsy grabbing it with his two hands. As you go further in the game, he becomes more familiar with it as he grabs it with one hand changes his body stance etc.

Learning Skills

I've been sick of rgps that you gain a level and some ability points and just apply them to your character attributes. In gothic you need to find important people, each one being specialized in something, and then get them to teach you what they know. There are teachers for swordsmanship, use of bow, use of acrobatics etc. and they teach you stuff by actually explaining things to you through dialogs How cool is that?!

Many Ways To Fight Enemies

The choice board there is really big, you can actually do anything even take down a pretty big fella that in a hand to hand combat
you d be wasted. You can climb on rocks unreachable to 4 legged monsters and kill them with bows , you can sneak behind them, you can put them to sleep with spells etc etc...

Many Way To Complete Quests

And those ways are not implied by anyone most of the times, you have to find them yourself. And the attractive part is that sometimes they feel quite natural like for example when at a quest you have to steal a document from a house the choices are many you have kill the owner in his sleep, you cant talk him out of keeping the document, you can put him to sleep with a spell and steall it or you can just grab it outside of the window!!

Everything Is Killable

Everything in Gothic's world especially in the 3rd game is killable, every NPC has a standard life bar that can be consumed, literally anything you can see moving can be killed from slaves to bosses and even pigs. Whatever you kill, stays dead, there are no respawns. Lets say that you kill an important NPC? well the game doesnt stop there just do what you must to continue in some other way your game.

Everyday Routines

One other amazing thing about gothic is that every NPC character seems to have a daily routine. They wake up in the morning, do their daily choirs talk to other guard passages and when the night comes they go back to sleep. This thing alone creates a realistic feeling that there is normal life everywhere around you!

People Watches Their Stuff

Everyone in the game mind their belongings. Lets say you enter a house and the owner is out sitting on a bench or by the campfire they immediately get up and warn not to do anything stupid.! And thats totally normal isn't it! Imagine you are hanging in the backyard with a friend and a stranger dude barges in your house .. what do you do?

Liberate Cities

The main plot around Gothic 3 is that the humans have lost the war to the orcs and there still are some rebels that they dont want to accept that and work underground to rebel against them! So, one of your many choices is that you can actually go to slaved cities and persuade the people to rebel and exterminate the whole population of this city and take it back!

Build You Reputation

If you go through a camp and you are just a stranger noone will trust you to give you lets say their armors and stuff. You have to work your way up do some choirs for them prove your worth and then you can be a trustworthy fella and join their cause!

Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder Review (PC)

Genre: Adventure/Point 'n' Click
Developer: Zoetrope Interactive
Publisher: Lighhouse Interactive
Release Year: 2007
System: PC

At last after many hours of searching trying and aborting many wannabe adventure/horror/point'n'click games i finally found out this masterpiece! Im surprised with all my ignorance all these years for this adventure lovecraftian gem, because im a huge fan of Lovecraft's work, but never it's too late i guess. I bought it surprisingly cheap and gave it a go in an instance. One more good thing about it, is that it is one of the very few games i tried lately and it worked without any unexpected errors, crashes, glitches etc. Despite the 10 years that it has on its back it seems to run pretty smoothly on an windows 8.1 system!

PLOT: 10/10

As police detective Howard E. Loreid, you are tasked to solve the murder of Clark Field, a wealthy man involved in the occult. Your number one suspect is Loath Nolder, a highly respected private investigator. After mysteriously abandoning his last case and abrutply resurfacing five years later one wonders how venerated P.I. Loath Nolder has turned fugitive murder suspect. Your seemingly routine investigation takes a dramatic twist as terrifying happenings begin to plague your psyche. Staying true to the original author's atmosphere, the plot is a genuine child of Lovecraft's work as if he wrote it himself. There even similar names to his as he used to do in his writings. Not much more to say here, the rating speaks itself.

GAMEPLAY: 9/10

The gameplay is like those we have seen on so many gems of the genre like Dracula, Scratches etc. With 360' angle to turn around and still environments to explore. You have your inventory in your right click and you interact with ur environment by left clicking. The really nice addition to the gameplay is the way that you collect clues through letters and notes. You actually rea them underline the important things and think about them! Other than that there are the choices to combine stuff in your invenotry or with your surroundings. Just one of my hesitant thoughts here is that maybe they could make clue collecting process somewhat easier (when it comes to where you click and all that).

GRAPHICS: 7/10

The graphics of Darkness Within is what would someone expect of development companies that we dont see very often. They are pretty decent for what they want to give us imagine and narrate. Nothing more or nothing less. They are pretty and stiff in formal rooms such as offices and dark gothic and grotesque in more threatening and unfriendly territories. Only when it comes to the cutscenes we are reminded that maybe this games was a low budget production. With not so much of a texture depth and stiff movement it reminds games even 5 years back of its release.

MUSIC/ATMOSPHERE: 10/10

Its music and atmosphere couldnt be better! Eerrie, stressful and ominus piano keys cello strings and many more are there to highlight every action from the clues discoveries that you makes as you progress to the windy drafts of dark basements. The sound is dressing really creepy what the story wants to tell us without overeacting and there is to raise every single hair on our backs when it must!

OVERALL: 9/10

Without wanting to waste your time (you should paly the game by now and not read those bubbling lines) id say simply that its a games that every H.P. Lovecraft's fan must play as well as every adventure fan. It combines all the classic elements we loved in masterpieces such as Atlantis, Dark Fall, Dracula, The Legend of the Prophets and the Assassins etc. with some really innovative gameplay elements.

PS4 System Software Update 4.50 Features Detailed

Starting today, those of you selected for our beta program will get an early peek at some of the new features coming to PS4 with our next major system software update, version 4.50 (codenamed Sasuke). If you signed up for the beta and were chosen, you’ll receive an email with instructions on how to download and get started.
Even if you’re not participating in the beta, we still wanted to give you a quick glance of the key features that will be rolling out with this update. We’re refining the user interface of PS4 even further, and adding highly requested features like external HDD support and custom wallpapers.

External HDD Support

It’s easy to upgrade the HDD that came with your PS4, but if you’re still looking for more storage space on the console, we’ve got you covered. With this update, you have the option to store content to an external HDD. Just plug a USB 3.0 HDD into your PS4, and voilà, you now have more space on the console.

This is compatible with HDDs up to 8TB in size. You can download and install applications directly to your extra storage, and the saved contents are easily manageable through the settings menu.
Also, all the applications saved in the external HDD will appear in the Content Launcher of the Home Screen so it’s easy to keep track of what apps you launched recently.
Please note: user save files are still stored locally on your PS4 HDD. Only games and applications are stored externally.

Custom Wallpapers

This update adds the ability to set your favorite in-game screenshot as the background image for PS4’s home screen. Drop-shadows on text, and the option to dim the Function Area, will help keep the system icons and texts on the home screen clearly visible even if the background image you selected is super bright.

You can also edit screenshots using Photo Mode in Sharefactory to make your one-and-only custom wallpaper.

Quick Menu Refresh

As you may know, in the last system update we overhauled the PS4 Quick Menu feature (the menu that appears after a long press of the PS button on DualShock 4).

This update brings additional improvements to make it even more accessible. Now the Quick Menu will cover even less of your gameplay screen, and you’ll be able to access handy Party features via Online Friends, like creating new parties, inviting friends, and joining parties, without transitioning to the separate Party app. The goal is to keep you in the game — and not stuck in menus.

Simplified Notification List

Before this update, the Notifications app had a variety of tabs on the left-hand side, like Game Alerts, Downloads, Uploads, and more. We’ve condensed all of the tabs to a single simplified list, making it easier to see all of your notifications all at-a-glance.

You can also quickly access the Notification settings from the Options Menu to turn off or customize which pop-up notifications appear on your screen, so you’re only being notified about your top priorities.

Post on PlayStation Network Activity Feeds

We’re adding the ability to post directly into the Activity Feed, which appears in a variety of places across the console, including What’s New. Under What’s New, you’ll see a new option to post things like text, screenshots, and gifs directly into your Activity Feed. You can also tag games or other users to make sure they don’t miss your post. It’s a great way to show off your greatest triumphs.

Bring Back Good Old JRPGs!

#WARNING: Contains HATE!

I love the rpg genre and especially the japanese one. Despite that sometimes they can be a little too colorful or seemingly childish i think they stand out due to their almost every time exceptional gameplay and grandiose storylines. I was lucky enough to have played so many jrpgs in my life including some best hits such as Wild ARMs, the early FF series (under Squaresoft), Legend of Dragoon, Breath of Fires series, Hack, Lufia, Grandia etc.

But nowadays i think that developers are lost inside their own will to stand out with extraordinary and overcomplicated gameplays and battles systems, that they forget what a really attractive gameplay is in the first place!

For example when i first laid my eyes on Resonance of Fate i was in awe! Amazing steampunk environments, wonderful music, nicely designed characters ... i think thats enough for a first impression. Aaaand here comes the battle system! MY FUCKING DOG! Come on u guys! If you want a character to jump just make a damn command for the jump action, and not press-the-square-to-select-the-anchor-location-and-square-again-to-confirm-then-square-to-jump!!!! Thats just ridiculous! Yes i understand the need to make something innovative but if you make our lives hard just for a jump then its not worth it! I ve found myself wishing not to find any enemies cos the battle system is too needlessly tiresome!

And what's with the leveling thing?! Why do you have to mess with everything?! Sphere levels, profession levels and shit! A character battles, he gains EXP he levels up. SO SIMPLE!!! Everybody can make his life hard, we dont need u companies to do that for us! We need you to entertain us so be fucking entertaining!

Oh I almost forgot! *Grabs a Megaphone: A world map is a world map! We need a damn environment so we can explore it in real time by controling the main character! We dont need focking 2D shitty pics to move around like on a boardgame.. guess what if u need that WE'D PLAY A FOCKING BOARDGAME!!! Give a damn FF9 world map to show you what it means to explore outside of towns!

And if you think that im exaggerating i dare you! Play a battle of Grandia 2 and the a battle of FFXIII and if you enjoy the gameplay of the second one better then i ll donate all of my collection of games! (kidding it's not my fault if you are screwless)!

Silent Hill 4: The Room - Shabby Doll

Yeah yeah i know its been a while since i update this blog but and i could tell 100 hundred reasons and you could tell me 100 "i dont care" and thats fair so i ll cut to the chase!

I recently got myslef an xbox original which it came with a brand new Silent Hill 4 The Room and since it was the only one of the series that i had never played i immediately began to immerse in its paranoia! And I think that although you never really go in Silent Hill this game is one of the best of the series.

In one of The Room's worlds you find urself outiside of your apartmens and one of the key characters leaves for you a Shabby Doll and with 2 options of course, take it or leave it. So guess what i did! I took it of course but i really shouldnt!

You see this item is literally worthless, you cant use it anywhere and you just have to toss it back into your items box in order to make room for more items! But once it is picked up it activates a haunting later in the game! When the apartment beggins to fills with hauntings one more haunting will appear right above the item box and if you are careless enough you cant be hurt as well!

So DON'T EVER PICK UP THE BLOODY DOLL!
