The Witcher 2 - Can't Enter Validation Key (Fixed)

The Witcher 2 (pc version) appears to have a specific issue during the installation process. You will be asked to enter a certain validation key that you will find in the gamer's manual. But when you try to type the validation key into the given space, nothing appears to be typed in. That can be rather frustrating considering the fact that you have been waiting a while to install the game, and that you will wait even more till the patch dowloading process will be completed. But the solution to that nerve-breaking problem is easier than it seems.

Its just the DPI settings have been changed. Well, you just have to type down the validation key. Though you dont see it being typed down, it is happening and if you type it correctly (copy-paste works as well) and press "OK" then it will go on and start searching for updates via the internet.

Now, if you want to change your DPI settings in order to be able to see what you actually type, follow these simple steps:

For Windows 7 / Vista
Open menu Start -> Go to the Control Panel -> Then to Appearance and Personalization - Display Settings.
From text size options select Smaller - 100% (default)
Save the changes.

Enjoy!!!
