Prince Of Persia (PC - 2008) - How To Defeat The Warrior

Having get used to solving his problems with the sword, our Prince, encounters for the 1st time a boss that is invulnerable to sword or magic attacks. So Elika suggests that we have to come to an environmental kill in order to advance. 

In a few words all you have to do is to make him follow till the edge of the platform and then make a roll under his feet. Then the Warrior will try to slowly stomp making space for Elika to get in between and hold him back with her magic. At this point u have to fuck the mouse's brains out by clicking to push him away (the clicks have to be quite fast). Then a brief slow motion scene will take place having the Prince kicking the Warrior off the edge. And thats it. The 1st encounter was crowned by victory!

Resident Evil 4 - MouseAim Patch

Damn, how much frustrating is to have a legendary game like RE4 at ur hands and not be able to play it cos of its crappy movement gameplay?! I ve been playing games for so many years and i can say with certainty that RE4 (and maybe Alone In The Dark) has the crappiest keyboard or gamepad usage. It's the classic case where a console title is transfered to PC and the whole things gets messed up. A normal 3rd person shooter game would have the movement in WASD, run with Shift, action on SPACE and the shooting and camera movement with the mouse! Whats more simple than that?! Its nearly impossible to play and enjoy it. So an unofficial patch came out that allows us to use the mouse. Well its not perfect but at least it is something! Here is the download link and how to use it.

How To:
- Download the patch: Resident Evil 4 - MouseAim Patch
- Extract the contents in the game directory (if u have trouble finding the directory just right click on the game icon shortcut > Properties > Open file location)
- Run the Loader.exe
- Adjust the varius options there according to ur gaming preferences and the press load game.

Resident Evil 4 - Church Puzzle

Hey there folks. Playing RE 4 for a day or so I ve discovered that there are plenty of treasures to be found if u try to look in every nook! Well what it appears to be a riddle needed to advance in the game it is not but it worth solving it. Im talking about the clock puzzle behind the church where is being held. The logic is simple. You have to search in the graveyard for the tombstones with the search option. Each of those tombs bear a different insignia (there are just 3 of them one that looks like the "M" letter, another one that looks like the "Z" letter and a third one that looks like a dragonfly or a butterfly or whatever). Memorize them or scetch it somewhere and go behind the church to the riddle panel. There you have to move the hands of the clock clockwise to highlight the symbols or to turn them off but you have to do it only with movements of 3 or 4 steps. So here is the pattern.

Paf Le Chien (Space Dog)

Hello again guys. Missed me? Well i certainly missed posting on kupo (damn army) but im doin my best. Well last night when i was on my watch it was soooo fucking boring so i began running down the memory lane. No no dont go too far back nor to any retro console games, just 3-4  years back. 

Well as a student i ve spent many many many hours on facebook playing varius apps (when the apps were not so much of a plague especially on android devices) and you could find some real gems and one of them was paf le chien. That game was really silly yet quite addictive. There was this guy with his dog that was kicking him in the ass and the dog was taking a pretty nasty flight up the sky and the goal was to reach the dog as far as possible. Randomly scattered on the stage were some gooses that if the dog hit on them they were bouncing him again on the sky to some extra meters. As obstacles there were also scattered brick walls all over the stage that were cutting you off. And thats all about it. And when i was googling it last night i found that it was renamed to Space Dog. A pity if u ask me because the previous name had much more character. 

A quite nice choice if you are fed up with column clones (yes folks the original game was columns on game gear not the cheesy saga game series) or run game clones.

Pyranha Bytes Oh How Much I Hate You!!

Pyranha Bytes is the well known to everyone one of us (at the least to the rpg fans) german developer that has developed the Gothic and Risen series. Dont get fooled by the article's title. I love all those games cos the were quite innovative while other games kept on reproducing some of the classic (not wanted) stuff regarding the gameplay. Although all those games have some really really REAAAALLY annoying bugs and malfunctions that make the gaming quite frustrating.  

When i firstly played Gothic (the first of the series) i wasnt expecting much of it because it was from an unknown company so i was a bit sceptical. When i gave it time i realised that i had to do with a real gem despite the bugs that were literally everywhere (and i think i dont have to mention the really really REEEEALLLY long loading times). Many of those annoying bugs were of the kind that you could overlook them simply because it was the first time you were encountering them just with the thought : "nah, its the first try of pyranha bytes, it will get better". But time showed evenutally that not only it got worse but the bugs kept being more and more! Just google it Risen and the autofill will say bugs! Thats ridiculous! But the bugs that got me really angry and were the reason that birth was given to this article were the ones about speed. You see it seems so hard for those games to load many information at the same time (maybe its the open free roaming world the one to blame). When u encounter many enemies and the clicks you have to make must be precise and crucial then it takes so long for the game to process the commands you give it that you end up in front of the enemy with ur weapon seathed, the camera almost frozen and the getting hit like there is no tomorrow. And i know that thats a bug im talking about cos it happens in all of PB games even if its console or pc version.

It has been one of so few times that i was so frustrated with the gameplay that i almost quit playing. And i believe there are many others like me who think likewise. Not that its important but i felt like sharing my thoughts on that matter because its a pity games like these to be ruined by factors like bugs.

PS3 Controller On PC

Hello dear fellas, miss me? No? Well, I dont give a damn cos im gonna be posting anyways! LOL! This post is a step to step guide on how to connect a PS3 controller on ur PC and play ur favorite games. If u already own a PS3 system but for some reason you d like to play games on ur PC, you dont have to spend a single penny on a PC compatible controller all you need is an official PS3 controller, a charging/USB cable and a PC of course! Read / Enjoy / And share the knowledge!

1. Connect the cable into a USB port on your PC

2. Connect the cable into ur PS3 Controller

3. Find out wether you have a 32bit or a 64bit system (to do that go to your desktop -> right click on the Computer -> Properties. In the System section you ll see System Type: 32-bit Operating System or 64-bit Operating System)

4. Download the appropriate file according to your operating system

a. 32(x86)bit Operating System Download

b. 64bit Operating System Download

5. Extract the .zip file and run the extract component. Install the program

6. Then run the program and update it if needed.

7. Restart your PC. During the booting process keep hitting the "F8" button on your keyboard till this screen comes up

and click on the : "Disable Driver Signature Enforcement"

8. Once you do this and Windows starts run the "MotioninJoy gaming tool" you previously installed. Click on the 2nd tab "Driver Manager". 

9. There you will see a little check box on the left of the window right above of the "Load Driver" button. Check it, click "Load Driver" and click home.

10. In the home screen you will see the name of the PS3 controller

11. Restart your PC again. After returning back in the Windows run the program again and you should be good. 

NOTE: I ve noticed that many games dont recognise the PS3 controller if unless you check "Xbox 360 Controller Emulation". Also check if vibration works and define the priotrity of ur controller.

That was it! Ur ready to enjoy a fully operational gamepad with almost every pc game there is and supports gamepad. Of course you wont have to repeat all that process every single time!

King Of Tekken Shows His Face

You can't deny that characters with masks have a mysterious aura floating around them making them more charming more intriguing and more difficult to "read". King of the Tekken series makes no exception on that rule having built a myth around his name through all that titles and years. 

Many things have been heard from several gamers (infidels!!) all those years about king that he is a beast or non-human, or cyborg or whatever! But come on guys search on google a bit, it is just a click away! Nothing supernatural is going on with King except his exceptional fighting abilities and grabs! King (or should i say Kings, because they are more than one) is human like the most of Tekken characters and Namco wanted him back in 1995 to show his face during one of the game's cutscenes. Maybe Namco hadn't decided what to do with king's mysterious personality and for that reason they revealed his face. But again we cant see it very clearly, we just have living proof at least that he is human!

As a mexican wrestler he is bound by the mexican wrestiling rules to always wear his mask. An unmasked mexican wrestler is dishonored (thats why he gets so mad with marduk later on in the series. Because he insulted his mentor by wearing Armor King's mask). And don's ask why he always roars! Why Brock from Pokemon has always his eyes closed? Or how the fuck Lulu in FFX manages to hit enemies with a moogle? We dont ask THAT stupid question. Cos they are anime style for fuck's sake! They are meant to be designed with some things that doesnt make so much sense but they still rock, and that way they are superior to the western animations!
